The Beauty of Pruning

Our loving Gardener delights in a believer's fruit-bearing life. We know the spiritual fruit we bear comes from the nurturing, indwelling Holy Spirit. Apart from Christ, we can do nothing. The surrendered heart of a believer, devoted to abiding with Christ, will grow and flourish, bearing much fruit. We often forget about the importance of pruning for growth. Based on John 15:2, this session will look at 4 ways God lovingly prunes us to empower our lives for abundant fruit-bearing. A fruitful life is a productive, joyful and abundant life. While we learn, we will decorate a Bible page to remind us of our time together. Participants can use their own supplies or incorporate the companion, free printable (The Beauty of Pruning Printable) for this session.
